About: 

Uses:  An excellent nutrient addition for potting mixes, houseplants, outdoor containers and garden soils deficient in nitrogen. Apply to soil at a rate of 5 lb. per 100 sq.ft. and water in throughly.  Sprinkle on soil surface, 1 Tbsp. per 1 gal. container or per 6 inches planter surface and water in throughly.  Two applications a year are sufficient if Age Old Organics liquids are used to supplement the growing program.  Poor soils may require additional applications.

Ingredients: meat and bone meal, volcanic rock dust, composted poultry manure, blood meal, bone meal and humic acid.

About:  Promote

Uses: Always use on new plantings and best results are found when used as a part of the regular nutrition program. 

Gardens and Yards:  Clay packed soils and to help maintain moisture under extreme conditions, use 1-2 tsp. in sufficient water to cover 10ft x 10 ft. area then water in thoroughly.  Repeat applications every two to four weeks, or until conditions improve.

Lawn and Professional Turf:   New seeding and sod, 3-5 tsp in sufficient water to cover 250 sq.ft. Water in thoroughly and repeat application every 4-6 weeks or until conditions improve.

Trees and Shrubs:  New plantings, soak roots in a solution  of 1 Tbls. Promote to 1 gallon water for 24 hours.  Prepare planting hole according to best management practices and drench hole with a solution of 1 tsp. Promote to one gallon of water.  Place plant in hole, dust  around the root system with correct application rate of Ornamental Transplant Root Inoculant (OTSR Inoculant) fill hole with additional soil.  Water in thoroughly.  Complete the planting and water in with remaining solution.  Apply the Promote solution at least twice during the growing season.

Container Plantings and Greenhouses: Drench plant completely with a solution of 1 tsp per gallon of water.  Repeat every 2-4 weeks during the growing season.  When using injector or irrigation systems, set the system to inject Promote at a rate of (10 to 20 ppm) or 1-2 ounces per 100 gallons of water.

Contents:  a blend of proprietary trace minerals, humic acid, seaweed extract and wetting agents.

Contents: 20% organic liquid calcium suspension derived from Calcium Carbonate and Natural gums.

Uses:  Use with deep root feeders, soaker hose, automatic sprinkler system and even a simple watering can.  To the water soluble + water mixture, include any of our Age Old Organics Liquids for fertilization.  Use prepared solution with 24-48 hours of mixing.

Trees and Shrubs:  Dissolve 1 lb. in 100 gallons of water.  Enough for 100 one inch caliper trees.  Use 1 Tbsp. in two gallons of water and drench roots when planting.  .

Turf Seeding and Sod:  Dissolve 1 lb. in sufficient water to cover one acre.

Ornamentals:  Dissolve 1 tsp. in one gallon of water.  Drench roots at planting or for restoration.

Contains:  Ecto- and Endo- Mycorrhizal spores, sea plant extracts, humic acid, amino acids and a proprietary blend of microbial metabolites.

Root Rally

Contains: organic based compound containing a blend of bone meal, fossil rock minerals and bio-nutrient inoculated with mycorrhizae spores.

Uses:  Applied to the plant’s root system this 100% premium organic blend will reduce transplant shock, encourage root growth and increase water and nutrient uptake.  When dividing plants or relocating trees and shrubs use ROOT RALLY or Water Soluble  and add Promote
Always refer to your state’s Best Management Practices (BMPs) for guidelines for planting, irrigation etc.  For best results apply mycorrhizae products directly to the plant’s roots.

Trees: Apply 1/4 to 1/2 lb. per caliper inch of trunk diameter.   Shrubs: Apply 2-4 Tbls per  gallon sized container.    Ornamentals and Vegetable transplants:  Apply one tbsp. per transplant and water thoroughly.

Ornamental Flower Beds and Gardens:  Spread 8 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. of planting area and work into top 3 to 4 inches of soil.

Greenhouse Planting and Soil Mixes:  Add 4 lbs. to each cubic yard of soil.  Blend well before using.

Age Old Organics Starting Soil is formulated for germinating seeds indoors or out. May also be used for root cuttings and small transplants. There is sufficient nutrient in the mix for germination and growing of young seedlings. No additional fertilizer should be added until they are transplanted.

Seed Germination : Moisten soil. Plant large seeds to a depth of about twice their width and about one inch apart. Cover lightly with additional Starting Soil. Small to medium seeds, place seeds about 1/2-3/4 inches apart and cover lightly with soil. Water lightly so the seeds are moist. Also can dip the pot or flat in a larger container holding water for bottom watering. Once the seed has sprouted & shows three true leaves, thin seeds to 1-1 1/2″ apart in flat or one plant per pot.

Rooting: Take root cuttings, dip in rooting compound & place into moisten soil. Gently press soil around cutting. Water lightly, preferably using bottom watering methods. Mist cuttings to keep plant & soil moist.

Contains: Vermiculite, sphagnum peat moss, bone meal, sulfate of potash, volcanic rock dust, kelp meal, soy flour, dolomitic lime, gypsum and yucca extract that are OMRI certified.

Age Old Organics  Growing Soil

Uses: For transplanting indoor/outdoor plants. Choose a pot no more than 1 pot size larger than previous pot. Tap old pot or loosen the root ball from the pot side. Tip pot and remove plant and root ball.  Gently rinse rootball and remove old soil from around roots.  Be careful not to damage the fine root hair structure. 

Small seedling plants: fill container with Age Old Organics  Growing Soil.  Using a chopstick or pencil, poke hole in the moisten soil.  Place seedling in hole and gently firm soil around the plant.  Water with a mister or use bottom watering method.

Large mature plants:  add small amount of Age Old Organics  Growing Soil  to bottom of new container.  Gently spread roots inside pot and carefully add the growing soil around roots filling all air pocket and spaces.  Water thoroughly.

Contains:  Perlite, vermiculite, sphagnum peat moss, kelp meal, soy flour, dolomitic lime, gypsum & yucca extract that are OMRI certified.

Bone Meal for Bulbs and Perennials

Uses:  Side dress all plants with 1-2 Tbsp. per plant/bulb.  Amend garden soil with 1 lb. per sq. ft. to a depth of 2-3 inches below plant roots and water thoroughly.   Every year after bulbs have completed their bloom cycle, cut back the flower stem to the base of the leaves and work into the soil 1-2 Tbsp  Bone Meal per plant/bulb. The leaves remain on the plant until they have turned yellow and withered.  The bulb receive  renewed energy from the sun, and the bone meal.  You will recognize the bulb’s  health and vigor during the next season’s bloom. 

Contains:  steamed and pelleted bone meal.

Available:  1 lb, 5 lb and 50 lb.

Uses:  Apply 1-2 inches on top of the soil.  Mix in thoroughly or add 1 part castings to 4 to 5 parts potting soil. Houseplants will love a bit sprinkled on the top of the soil, then water in with any of our liquids (depending on the plant current cycle of growth). Can also be used for making compost tea.
