No additional fertilizer should be added until they are transplanted.</font><span id="more-27"></span><strong>Uses:</strong>  Use for germinating seeds, root cuttings and small transplants.  Fill container or flat to within 1/2 inch of container top.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Seed Germination : </strong> Moisten soil. Plant large seeds to a depth of about twice their width and about one inch apart. Cover lightly with additional <strong> Starting Soil</strong>.  Small to medium seeds, place seeds about 1/2-3/4 inches apart and cover lightly with soil.  Water lightly so the seeds are moist. Also can dip the pot or flat in a larger container holding water for bottom watering. Once the seed has sprouted &amp; shows three true leaves, thin seeds to 1-1 1/2&#8243; apart in flat or one plant per pot.</p>
<p><strong>Rooting:  </strong>Take root cuttings, dip in rooting compound &amp; place into moisten soil. Gently press soil around cutting.  Water lightly, preferably using bottom watering methods.  Mist cuttings to keep plant &amp; soil moist.</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>Contains:</strong>  Vermiculite, sphagnum peat moss, bone meal, sulfate of potash, volcanic rock dust, kelp meal, soy flour, dolomitic lime, gypsum and yucca extract that are OMRI certified.</p>
<p><strong>Available:</strong>  in 20 quart bags and 3 cubic foot bags.</p>

<p><strong>Uses: </strong>For transplanting indoor/outdoor plants. Choose a pot no more than 1 pot size larger than previous pot. Tap old pot or loosen the root ball from the pot side. Tip pot and remove plant and root ball.  Gently rinse rootball and remove old soil from around roots.  Be careful not to damage the fine root hair structure. </p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Small seedling plants</strong>: fill container with <strong>Age Old Organics  Growing Soil.  </strong>Using a chopstick or pencil, poke hole in the moisten soil.  Place seedling in hole and gently firm soil around the plant.  Water with a mister or use bottom watering method.</p>
<p><strong>Large mature plants:</strong>  add small amount of <strong>Age Old Organics  Growing Soil</strong>  to bottom of new container.  Gently spread roots inside pot and carefully add the growing soil around roots filling all air pocket and spaces.  Water thoroughly.</p></blockquote>
