We appreciate your interest in Age Old Organics. AOO LIQUID GROW is a great natural fertilizer that promotes strong healthy stem and leaf development as is characteristic of a nitrogen based nutrient. As with all our liquids the nutrient can be watered into the root zone or foliar sprayed . There are times when a plant doesn't need addition soil moisture but will show nutrient deficiencies (weak growth, yellowing of the leaves, etc) and the foliar spray will be taken up immediately by the leaves. Please also consider AGE OLD ORGANICS DRY FRUIT. Specifically designed for any plant that produces bud, bloom and fruit. We apply AOO DRY FRUIT to the root zone of berry plants, fruit trees and roses at bud formation. All of our dry products are food for the plant and the best for soil health. Charles, for grower contractor pricing please contact Adam @ adam.dickson@mac.com.

I have used all of AGE OLD ORGANICS liquid products and never have experienced negative results. My recommendation to you follows: Always read the label, never use more of any nutrient than is recommended. Sediment can occur over time....when this occurs simply mix up the contents by shaking the container. Always store liquid containers in an area where freezing temperatures will not occur. But if this should happen, restore contents to a liquid state and shake container to return contents to its orginial state. Thanks for choosing AGE OLD ORGANICS.
a while ago purchased a 2.5gallon age old bloom 5-10-5 from a local hydro store. I recently read online that liquid nutrients can partially solidify, increase salinity, and develop other problems over time. can you please recommend an ideal storage environment to mitigate these effects? I was planning on using this nutrient for the next few years. sincerely, shobo

Jack, very good question. Age Old Organics nutrients are formulated by the plant's stage of growth. Ex: soak seeds and bare roots in a solution of 2oz. AO Kelp/1gal water. At seedling emergence switch to 2 tsp. AO Bloomper gallon of water and apply every 10-15 days until flower or fruit initiation. Then switch back to AO Grow at the same rate. Always apply OTSR with Mycorrhizae when planting tree, shrub, annual, perennial to reduce trnasplant shock, encourage root growth and increase water and nutrient uptake. I have a feeling you would benefit from Age Old Organics 2009 Product Catalog and Growing Guide. Send us your address.

Thanks Fred for your inquiries... 1-2 tsp. per gallon of water. Also, you can dilute it to 1/2 strength and apply with each watering. Remember even tho it is organic..when a plant is overwatered there is little or no oxygen available in the soil and the roots rot. Use a moisture meter to help know when a plant needs water.
Yes you can use a ppm meter for any of the Age Old liquids. We now have a hydroponic liquid LIQUID SOIL. It is a two part solution. Customers have great results with it. We like it our systems. We get consistent ppm and pH readings over a longer period of time than other hydroponic nutrients. And like all Age Old Organics products it is reasonably priced. More information??? Provide your email address. We have it in stock. The Gardener
