<p><strong>Uses: </strong> An excellent nutrient addition for potting mixes, houseplants, outdoor containers and garden soils deficient in nitrogen. Apply to soil at a rate of 5 lb. per 100 sq.ft. and water in throughly.  Sprinkle on soil surface, 1 Tbsp. per 1 gal. container or per 6 inches planter surface and water in throughly.  Two applications a year are sufficient if <strong>Age Old Organics </strong>liquids are used to supplement the growing program.  Poor soils may require additional applications.</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients: </strong>meat and bone meal, volcanic rock dust, composted poultry manure, blood meal, bone meal and humic acid. </p>

As these become free, the naturally occuring nutrients become available to the plants and live microorganisms in the soil.  It improves biological activity in the soil, improves tilth and texture of the soil and improves soil water movement and holding capabilities&#8230;a great reduction of problems associated with poor soil conditions. The humic acid content makes nutrients more available in adverse pH conditions.  <span id="more-34"></span><strong>Promote</strong> also contains cytokines and auxins (both plant hormones) that are found in the ingredient seaweed. They encourage root development and increases plant tolerance to environmental stresses.</p>
<p><strong>Uses</strong>: Always use on new plantings and best results are found when used as a part of the regular nutrition program. </p>
<p><strong>Gardens and Yards:  </strong>Clay packed soils and to help maintain moisture under extreme conditions, use 1-2 tsp. in sufficient water to cover 10ft x 10 ft. area then water in thoroughly.  Repeat applications every two to four weeks, or until conditions improve.</p>
<p><strong>Lawn and Professional Turf: </strong>  New seeding and sod, 3-5 tsp in sufficient water to cover 250 sq.ft. Water in thoroughly and repeat application every 4-6 weeks or until conditions improve.</p>
<p><strong>Trees and Shrubs:  </strong>New plantings, soak roots in a solution  of 1 Tbls. <strong>Promote </strong>to 1 gallon water for 24 hours.  Prepare planting hole according to best management practices and drench hole with a solution of 1 tsp. <strong>Promote</strong> to one gallon of water.  Place plant in hole, dust  around the root system with correct application rate of <strong>Ornamental Transplant Root Inoculant</strong> (<strong>OTSR Inoculant) </strong>fill hole with additional soil.  Water in thoroughly.  Complete the planting and water in with remaining solution.  Apply the <strong>Promote </strong>solution at least twice during the growing season.</p>
<p><strong>Container Plantings and Greenhouses: </strong>Drench plant completely with a solution of 1 tsp per gallon of water.  Repeat every 2-4 weeks during the growing season.  <strong><em>When using injector or irrigation systems, set the system to inject </em>Promote<em> at a rate of (10 to 20 ppm) or 1-2 ounces per 100 gallons of water.</em></strong></p>
<p><strong>Contents:  </strong>a blend of proprietary trace minerals, humic acid, seaweed extract and wetting agents.</p>

Cover lightly with additional <strong> Starting Soil</strong>.  Small to medium seeds, place seeds about 1/2-3/4 inches apart and cover lightly with soil.  Water lightly so the seeds are moist. Also can dip the pot or flat in a larger container holding water for bottom watering. Once the seed has sprouted &amp; shows three true leaves, thin seeds to 1-1 1/2&#8243; apart in flat or one plant per pot.</p>
<p><strong>Rooting:  </strong>Take root cuttings, dip in rooting compound &amp; place into moisten soil. Gently press soil around cutting.  Water lightly, preferably using bottom watering methods.  Mist cuttings to keep plant &amp; soil moist.</p></blockquote>

<p><strong>Uses: </strong>For transplanting indoor/outdoor plants. Choose a pot no more than 1 pot size larger than previous pot. Tap old pot or loosen the root ball from the pot side. Tip pot and remove plant and root ball.  Gently rinse rootball and remove old soil from around roots.  Be careful not to damage the fine root hair structure. </p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Small seedling plants</strong>: fill container with <strong>Age Old Organics  Growing Soil.  </strong>Using a chopstick or pencil, poke hole in the moisten soil.  Place seedling in hole and gently firm soil around the plant.  Water with a mister or use bottom watering method.</p>
<p><strong>Large mature plants:</strong>  add small amount of <strong>Age Old Organics  Growing Soil</strong>  to bottom of new container.  Gently spread roots inside pot and carefully add the growing soil around roots filling all air pocket and spaces.  Water thoroughly.</p></blockquote>
